La Roux Brooklyn Concert reviews
disappointing
In my opinion, La Roux's live presence wasn't that impressive. The Hollywood Bowl unfortunately did not deliver this time. The monitors during the show were not used to project the stage performance, which is plain outrageous when you have that many fans piled into the grandstands to see a live show. I go way back listening to La Roux and am a humongous fan of the Smiths. Billy Idol, I also love. Honestly, he seemed a little withdrawn, while Billy Idol was super engaged and kept the crowd moving.
